Move Action is a free surveillance tool by means of a webcam that is capable of protecting your computer and your house. It is an open source application that allows to detect anomalies by means of the images captured by a webcam.

  It is very easy-to-use and it doesn't precise real-time video recording. The application checks a sequence of images every certain amount of time and it looks for problems.

  Move Action acts as if it configured by the user:
- Block the computer and asks for a password to reactivate.
- Save images as .jpg of the possible robbers on your hard drive.
- Play a sound file, as an alarm or warning.
- Launch internal applications, like an email client, by means of which it will inform you via mail, send captures,...

  The main obstacle of this application is that has to be configured manually by means of the configuration files, a somewhat complex task, even though with some computing knowledge your shouldn't have any problems. Move Action is a very useful and efficient application to maintain your computer safe.
